The Gaston MPO has made available orange and red colored flags to agencies and firms in the Gaston Urban Area as part of an Ozone Awareness/Education program to alert the community of the daily air pollution risks. The flag notification system corresponds directly to the health descriptors of the Air Quality Index (AQI).
